We are an industry leading manufacturer of electronic assembly tooling and we are currently seeking a full time staff accountant to support our Controller with the following primary duties:

Assist in Preparation of financial statement and supporting schedules
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, Balance Sheet and other
Generate monthly KPI reporting
Ad Hoc Reporting/Projects
Process salary payroll and record payroll related accruals
Backup for hourly payroll
Assist with developing budgets
Provide support before and during annual audit
Oversee credit card to include coding, approval and timely payment
Prepare monthly profit sharing and commission reports
Manage document control and policy/procedures for Accounting and HR departments
Assist with capital expenditure reporting and variance analysis
Maintain fixed asset ledger including depreciation/amortization entries
Assist with daily/weekly cash management
Maintain proper inventory valuation in the GL
Provide backup for accounting staff

Bachelors or higher degree with an accounting or finance emphasis
3+ years accounting experience; CPA, CMA or MBA a plus, but not required
Strong understanding of accounting theory and knowledge of GAAP
Experience with cost accounting a plus but not required
Knowledge of budget development, projections and variance analysis
Experience with GL, JE preparation, monthly and annual close processes
Knowledge of fixed asset accounting, depreciation/amortization calculations
Experience with accounting software & ERP systems
Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, and Excel (including vlookup, pivot tables, etc.) preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects is a must
