Receiving Inspector

The Receiving Inspector in the Ascentec Machining Group will be responsible to ensure the highest of standards are upheld during the Receiving Inspection Process. The exacting standards of our products requires the ability to read prints, follow work instructions, understand basic inspection processes, read certifications, and perform shipping and receiving functions. Additionally, this role works closely with our Inspection Department, and has direct responsibility for the quality and accuracy of our inventory. The optimal candidate has a passion for quality improvement, is process driven and gets along well in a team environment. This role has growth opportunity, and is part of a rapidly developing, dynamic organization that directly supports Semiconductor, Spaceflight and Aerospace.

Responsibilities:

  • Kitting
    • Pull parts for Assembly and put parts away in stock
    • Update and track parts in ERP system
    • Cycle Counts
    • Communicate with the Planning department
    • Prepare parts for Shipping
  • Receiving
    • Receive, document, and deliver tooling and hardware within shop
  • Raw Material
    • Receives and validates type/size
    • Put away in stock and/or move material to machines
    • System transactions
  • OP
    • Visuals on Packaging/Chem Full
    • Receiving
  • Good knowledge of inspection tools and inspection processes
  • Understanding of Inventory processes
  • Experience in Shipping and Receiving
    Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration
    Support internal Continuous Improvement efforts
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented and focused on helping to maintain consistent quality standards
  • Experience with a wide variety of inventory control software a plus
  • Able to work overtime and limited Saturday shifts as needed
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior Inspection experience
  • Proficient with Aerospace documentation, Certs / FAIR requirements
  • Forklift training required

 

Education / Experience:

  • 2-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience is highly preferred

 

Compensation:

  • Pay range: $14 – $17 dollars / hour DOE
